What if an app could make living sustainably more manageable?
Nudj began as a shared passion for reducing the impact of climate change on future generations. We wanted to create something that could empower people to make easy and meaningful changes to improve their wellbeing and the world around them.
This evolved into Nudj – an app and a community that can make a difference and create a low carbon society together.
When you track your progress using the Nudj app it allows you to see your own journey towards improving your carbon footprint, as well as the collective impact of the whole Nudj community.
We know that things won’t change overnight, but we believe that every step towards a sustainable lifestyle is a positive one, no matter how big or small. One Nudj at a time.
The Nudj Founders
Our four little birds
Our four children (or four little birds) are the inspiration behind Nudj and our drive to do what we can to reduce the impact of climate change for our children and the children of tomorrow.
Dee
When visiting Tioman Island in Malaysia at the age of 20, Dee was shocked by the mountains of plastic in the river and stream beds and wanted to do something that could help in a meaningful way. This was one of many reasons she decided to complete a master’s degree in Environmental Management, followed by a 20-year career working in recycling and waste management. Nudj combines Dee’s drive to create something that has a real impact on the environment, with her desire to help people understand how they can make simple changes.
Meg
Meg grew up in the wilds of Canada, camping, canoeing and hiking and generally just spending time outdoors and exploring nature, a passion she now shares with her two young girls. Meg is an Economist who loves to get stuck into data and values the importance of data-based decision making. For Meg, Nudj combines her longstanding respect for nature with the ability to make informed choices about her actions and the impact they have on the world around her.
